The Lion King-
For your family-friendly option, be sure to check out Disney’s hyper-realistic animated remake of the classic we all know and love. This time around Donald Glover voices Simba, Seth Rogan voices Pumbaa, John Oliver voices Zazu, and Beyonce voices Nala.
Midsommar-
Everyone loves a good summertime horror flick and this movie does not disappoint. From director Ari Aster, Midsommar follows a group of friends who travel to Sweden for a strange festival that only happens once every ninety years.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold-
This live-action take on the Nickelodeon classic with a comedic twist presents a film that the younger ones will want to see that might just be tolerable for grownups. This new, high school-aged Dora embarks on a journey into the jungle with some familiar faces like Boots the monkey and her cousin Diego.
Where’d You Go, Bernadette-
Based off of the 2014 novel of the same name, this movie follows a daughter’s quest to find her mother after mysteriously disappears before a family vacation. The cast features Kristen Wigg, Cate Blanchett, and Billy Crudup.
